Matcha

Matcha is a powder ground from dried leaves of green tea. Anchored in the tea culture in Japan for more than 1,000 years, the precious powder has now made it to us. Traditional Matcha powder is cultivated and produced in Japan. Grinding the leaves in granite mills can take several hours to obtain the desired fine grain size. Therefore the powder is very expensive.
In the kitchen Matcha is now also widely used in the kitchen due to its unique taste and intense green color. Various desserts, such as ice cream, cookies or dairy products can be refined with it. But also in combination with spicy dishes and sauces there are countless possibilities.

Matcha is a true nutritional miracle and is one of the healthiest foods ever. The powder contains a particularly high proportion of antioxidants (catechins) as well as carotenes and vitamins A, B, C and E.

For our variety “Matcha Chicken” we decided to include the ingredient not only in the recipe but also in the name because of its positive characteristics and extraordinary taste.
