Pumpkin Seed
Already decades ago our family not only processed the pulp of our garden pumpkins, but also dried, roasted, salted and loved the seeds as a snack in between.
Whether sweet or savory, there are hardly any limits to the preparation. But not only the taste, but also the inner values are absolutely convincing, because pumpkin seeds are considered to be important suppliers of vitamins, enzymes and omega-3. So they not only taste great, they are also particularly healthy. To preserve the important ingredients, gentle processing at low temperatures is important.
If you use pumpkin seeds yourself, it is essential that you always wash the raw seeds thoroughly before consumption to remove any harmful substances.
For our bars we only use organic pumpkin seeds from Austria.
