Oregano

Oregano is one of the most widespread aromatic herbs in the Mediterranean region. It is very popular both in the kitchen and as a medicinal herb and is often cultivated at home because it is easy to care for and relatively hardy. The leaves are simply plucked off during harvest, which promotes the growth of side shoots and allows new leaves to grow quickly.

Since the 17th century, the aromatic taste has inspired many dishes. Today it is hard to imagine pizzas, pasta dishes and salads without it. Oregano has also become an important component of our bars, which – finely tuned – harmonizes perfectly with beef.
